Press on! Press in!

November 25, 2007 Sunday

Speaker: Ptr. Ray Neu

I feel like the Apostle Paul, although I had nothing to do with the beginnings of this church, I can relate to what Paul says in Romans 1, " Paul's Longing to Visit Rome  (Ray’s Longing to visit Taytay)".

"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world." (Your pastor was elected Missional Pastor of the entire Asia Pacific region! Jordan Escusa is famous as the DJ Pastor, stories of the youth reach me in the USA! Becki and I tell people about this church wherever we go! My heart was connected to this church form the first time Greg Taylor began to tell me about it – my heart is still connected here today!)

The Curse of Sin

November 18, 2007 Sunday

Speaker: Ptr. Sam Tamayo

Sin originally is not designed to mankind. We are cursed for to live in this world is to suffer when sin entered the world.

Taken from the meaning of sin in the dictionary, it is a vitiated state of human nature in which the self is estranged form God and according to Eerdman’s bible dictionary, sin is the refusal of human beings to live the life intended for them by God.

Sin is not simply a violation of moral standards of society. It is ultimately against God rather than against mankind. If we will take a look as sin’s history, God didn’t design us to sin. We are created in the image and likeness of God therefore making us holy. But it corrupted our relationship to God as sin entered the world through Adam and Eve.

Sin and death have different connotations but they are connected. Sin and death are claimed to be like husband and wife.
